A group of our cornet players recently took part in a service at St Georges Church to receive and invest 2 Knights, and the installation of the Knight Commander into the Commandery of the Isle of Man of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem.

The service was held on 16th April at St Georges Church in Douglas and saw Stephen Sieling selected as the new Knight Commander of the Commandery of the Isle of Man.

Our cornet players played a fanfare from the opening of Olympic Spirit by John Williams at the beginning of the service and then again after presentations had been made to a number of cadets, and the receiving of the keys to a new ambulance.

Balley Cashtal Brass will be taking part in another St John event on 24th June again in St Georges Church.
