A new adventure for the band. We've played at garden parties, indoor concerts, competitions and even taken part in a film! Now we are embarking on a theatrical career.

The Freelance Players, a group of young actors in the south of the island are putting on Alan Ayckbourn's play Gosforth's Fete, one of his five one-act plays which comprise Confusions. It is set during the opening of a chaotic village fete where nothing goes to plan, and will be performed at the Erin Arts Centre, Port Erin on the evenings of 17th, 18th and 19th October.

Tickets can be purchased from the Erin Arts Centre, Maynrys Ladies Fashion (Malew Street, Castletown) and Vera Moon (6 Close Cam, Port Erin). The cost is £8 for adults and £1 for children and doors will open at 7:15pm.

It's going to be an evening of music and laughter, so please come along and enjoy.

As I've said, it may lead to a new direction for the band!
